Daniel Bey is a highly experienced safety, security, and law enforcement professional with over two decades of expertise in physical security management, emergency response, and risk assessment. With a strong foundation in both the public and private sectors, Mr. Bey has successfully led security operations for numerous high-profile clients, such as Live Nation, Country Music Association, iHeart Radio, F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Insomniac, Nationwide Arena, Ohio State University, and others.

As the Senior Director of Security at Sequel Tour Solutions, Mr. Bey oversees all aspects of event security, including risk management, loss prevention, and the development of Emergency Operations Plans. He is adept at strategizing and implementing security frameworks that ensure a safe and efficient environment for both clients and attendees.

Before his current role, Mr. Bey served as a Police Officer with the Columbus Police Department, where he specialized in investigations, community engagement, and field training. While on the police department, Mr. Bey was a member of the Chief’s Advisory Board. His law enforcement background gives him unique insight into the intricate details of security and compliance, and he is a trusted leader in both crowd and asset protection.

In the early stages of his career in the safety and security industry, Mr. Bey gained valuable experience working for a security staffing company. During this time, he was responsible for overseeing 24-hour security operations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and leading recruitment and training efforts. Mr. Bey also managed security for a wide range of venues, including those hosting concerts, collegiate and professional sporting events, and large-scale conventions.

Mr. Bey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from The Ohio State University and has completed extensive professional training, including certifications in emergency planning, counter-terrorism, and security risk assessments. Mr. Bey is a member of ASIS, NCS4, and the Event Safety Alliance. His commitment to safety and excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including the Medal of Valor and the Crime Stoppers Officer of the Year award.
